Really pleased with this track, because I didn’t take inspiration from anywhere other than in my head; no samples, drum loops, bass lines or anything, every note came from my noggin!

I enjoy trance music, and so the aim was to create a trance track, something that wasn’t coming naturally to me for some reason. I was struggling to make those classic long, exaggerated dreamy chord progressions, that I wanted to make.

It came together in this track, and when I listen to it now I really love the way it evolves over time, and all the elements of the track slide into each other smoothly. I really like the mixture of harsh and soft sounds too, there are layers to the bass line that are very gentle, soft and rolling, whilst at other times it’s driving and much harder, but it all works together nicely.

So yeah, I made the first trance style track I’m really proud of!
