Back in the Frame

I’ve been concentrating on learning how to create things in 3D over the last couple of years, and more recently music production, but I haven’t left my camera behind!

I don’t seem to have the time I used to have, to devote to my photography because of work, 3D and music production, but I do still thoroughly enjoy it, and still take the camera out with me when I can.

Most recently, I took my camera and 100-400mm lens to Chester Zoo with us on a family visit. It’s such a great zoo, always well looked after, loads going on to see, conservation projects and new areas. That’s not to mention the animals!!

This time, photography wise the Mandrills and the Tigers really stole the show for me. The tigers are just so majestic, almost surreal in the way they move and carry themselves. you can literally “see” the power in their body’s.

The Mandrills had young with them, and despite their clear power and aura around them, they were very carful around the young ones, and very protective. The youngsters didn’t have a care in the world, just as it should be!!

Their eyes are just mesmerising!!

Back to the tigers, and the big male gave us an amazing display of his power, you can feel the strength and raw power running through his body, just from the way he moves!

This is my favouring photo from the trip:
