I am so pleased with this track! This is the music I’ve been wanting to create right from the start. Its been locked up in my head for all this time, and now I feel like I am finally able to translate what I hear in my head, into reality. Its a magical thing being able to make music, and I don’t take the journey lightly, I know I’m on a learning curve, and I cant help but love it! This one I would say falls into the progressive or melodic house genre, 122bpm and a rhythmic melody that builds and builds over time. I absolutely love the vocal, a gritty soul sound, interwoven with some lush humming!
I love everything about it, but the groove and the lead melody I absolutely adore! When I was making it, and finally nailed the groove it was the best feeling ever.
Several layers make this track what it is, three bass layers, four lead melodies, groovy drums and percussion, three atmospheric layers and of course, that soulful vocal!
As always, the accompanying music video I made in Blender, and that in itself is a mission I’m really proud of – every pixel and every note in this video, I’ve put together, and for me that’s really something! 10,000 glowing balls this time, spread out over 8,400 HD frames, bouncing to the music, with a bias to the kick & bass. The colours change with the rhythm too, going from deep red to bright white, depending on the overall volume level.
