Interesting question hey! I made this track along the same lines as Galaxicon One, with more of a chilled vibe. Galaxicon One I would say is more trance than this one, this one is more Melodic House. To be perfectly honest, I get lost in trying to pigeon hole tracks into certain genres. In my opinion, this track is a melodic progressive house track, with a chilled out vibe!!
I really like artists like Tinlicker, Artbat, Kaskade, Kölsch and so on, and I really wanted to make something along those lines. I found the vocal and really liked the question it posed, “would you do, what I do?”, and built the track uk around that.
The finished track sits at a funny position within how I feel about it; on one hand I’m really proud of it, and on the other I wonder if I could have done more with it, I’m not sure I could?
Of all the things I create; photos, videos, 3D art, and so on, music is the one that I feel most strongly has a life of its own once I’ve created it. It’s like the second you declare a piece of music finished, it flys off into the world, just as it is with no explanation, and people either get it, or they don’t, and I feel very strongly about that. What I mean to say is I feel a very strong sense of responsibility in having to make sure the piece of music is the best I can make it, for its sake entirely, or I’ll put it out into the world to live its life unfinished, and that feels so wrong! It’s a very difficult emotion to put into worlds, and I’ll likely try again once I’ve thought about it some more.
