I had so much fun making this track! For a while, I had a classic case of writers block, and just couldn’t get the melody how I wanted it. However, I stuck with it, as right from the start the track had a nice vibe about it.

Eventually, stripping it right back to its core elements, even taking the melody away entirely gave way to the underlying groove of the track, and from there the melody came to life, as I gently tweaked the background ambiance and the top line vocal together.

I love the way the stutter elements bounce the track along, and the deep sustained Reese bass holds the mood throughout.

I really enjoy listening to Melodic House, and in creating it I find even deeper enjoyment, especially when it all comes together nicely.

As always, the accompanying video I made in Blender 3D, and again it’s 100k glowing balls, but this time shooting from an impossibly tall tower, on top of the world, all in time to the music. It took 3 days for my PC to render it all out!!
