Today, I thought I’d mix it up a little and take my photograph in the morning.
Recently, the most time I’ve had to take photographs has been in the evening, so today I was going to take a shot of the sun rise.
Thankfully, it was a nice sun rise, and I took a few shots, with different angles, focus settings and so on. I even took a few with the sun at various levels of focus, to experiment.
Below, is my favourite.
However, as you can tell from today’s main photograph, when I got home this evening Izzy wanted to do some photographs, and who am I to argue with a three year old!
The sun was setting, by now, and pushing a gorgeous warm light into our bedroom. So I asked Izzy to come through and stand in the light, and do whatever she wanted for a “pose”.
In usual Izzy fashion, she struck some weird, wonderful and gorgeous poses. These, are my favourites.
A smile above, and a wink below. She’s only just learnt to wink, but that is a wink you have to agree, and no where in the “wink rule book” does it say you can’t wink with your mouth at the same time.
I know, because we checked.
After some more funny faces, she lay her head on the edge of the bed, and I cannot put into words how beautiful she looked.
Yes, there are a couple of photographs below, and of course today’s main photograph, however, I’m not sure the best photographer on the planet could have fully captured the beauty I saw.
Learnings – I thought I’d capture the beaming sunshine as the sun rose in the early morning; but it I wasn’t looking in the right place.
The real sunshine was indoors, pulling funny faces at me, as the sun set.
