Turn Around – 198/365

It’s amazing isn’t it, how something so simple can be so beautiful? I’m all for big dramatic and moody images, as you will probably have noticed; but also I find such a power and such a deep emotional attachment in very clean and simple images too. They expect nothing, and give so much!

That’s true of people too, and more specifically the actions they choose to take.

I had a day of it today, and without going into details felt pretty deflated all the way through until I parked my car on the drive.

Now, I often take ten minutes just sat in my car, on the drive way when I arrive home, especially if my head is still spinning with work stuff – I try not to take it into the house with me you see, so if I haven’t sorted everything in my head during the drive home, I need that little bit more time to get things “down loaded”.

While I’m sat there, I’ll often have a quick look on my social media (sometimes I get embroiled in emails which totally defeats the object) just to see what’s what and catch-up on my social “world” while my brain sorts itself out.

After today’s day, I was inevitably going to take that ten minutes to let my head unwind, and in doing so I noticed a notification from my blogging friend, who I know as Outosego, that they had nominated my blog for the Liebster Award, that aims to celebrate blogs.

This, in one instant completely changed my whole day around, and a well of happiness began in my toes and spread all the way up to my head!

What a fantastic way to end the day, with a very simple act of kindness from a friend I have met through this 365 challenge!

Outosego, thank you, you literally made my day!

To everyone else, have a look at the blog below, it’s a wonderful mix of photography, words, psychology, videos, human nature and loads more about life itself!

  1. You’ re awesome, Gav. Not only a great photographer, but you’ re, also, a wonderful writer. I didn’t expect that this would have such a positive impact to your psychology. I’m really, really happy, really happy for this. We all have issues with different kind of things, and we try to go on in life with what we have, with what we know, as far as we can, as much as we are allowed. I really enjoy your wonderful pictures, and the moments of your life that you share with us through your wonderful blog. To my eyes is more than obvious that you ‘re a wonderful father.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a wonderful post for an unknown. I wish you all : great health, longevity and happiness.
